Zep Solar is a solar technology company from San Rafael, CA committed to advancing the proliferation of solar energy through cleverly designed products that optimize efficiency and affordability. OVO was brought in for a complete branding of their umbrella organization, sub brands and co-branded programs including implementation into advertising, interactive, collateral, and environmental design. Taking cues from the revolutionary “Zep” coupling itself, OVO was able to craft an effective identity and subsequent design extensions that were appropriate for the B2B space, yet spoke to the quality and truly unique innovations of the Zep product line.
Unveiled at the Solar Power International Conference in October of 2009, the brand received praise from many attendees, attracting some of the largest crowds at the show. Informal exit polling ranked Zep in the top 3 exhibitors of over 900 companies represented from around the world.
