Founded around a dynamic, high-energy sales model, the challenge was to create an active yet sturdy enough brand to fuel this momentum without shrugging off fundamental values of safety and security. While most of Siren's competition is crowded around cold, concrete metaphors, OVO utilized sound as the driving force behind the brand magic, developing the brand name and positioning as “The sound of security”. This not only ensures a differentiation from the competition, but adds another medium for brand identity communication. Visually, the trademark speaks through a synthesis of “siren” and “security”, executed so that equal emphasis is placed on both the dynamic and reliable brand attributes. High contrast, warm colors set against black support visibility, momentum, and safety.
