Fuse
Fuse, a west coast career placement consultancy, came to OVO as a start-up in need of a corporate name, positioning and identity to propel the enlivened firm ahead of its dense competition while retaining an advisory sense of “thought leadership.” As a direct metaphor, fuse serves as a high-energy catalyst and represents the process of connecting executives with companies for stable, bright results. The positioning “Career Connections” further reinforces the metaphor and helps illuminate the meaning behind the visual identity. Subsequent brand implementation introduces a disarming humor and simplicity, which helps to create an environment of honest communication and trust.

OVO was awarded a 2007 AIGA Silver Prisma award, in the category of Consumer Magazine, for the Fuse campaign “He Looked Good on Paper.”
